Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F
Customize It Instructions

If using 20 oz. ground pork, follow same instructions as 10 oz., working in batches if necessary. You may have leftover topping.

If using ground beef, break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

If using ground turkey, break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

Prepare the Ingredients
Coarsely chop pickled onions.
Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate. -
Cook the Pork
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add ground pork, garlic salt, and a pinch of pepper to hot pan.
Break up meat until no pink remains and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 5-7 minutes.Remove from burner.While pork cooks, continue recipe. -
Make the Mustard-Cheese Sauce
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
Add 1/3 cup water, crème fraîche, cheddar cheese, mustard, and a pinch of salt to hot pan. Stir often until cheese melts, 1-2 minutes.If too thick, add additional water, 1 Tbsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.Remove from burner. -
Assemble and Bake the Flatbreads
Place flatbreads on prepared baking sheet. Top evenly with mustard-cheese sauce, pork, white portions of green onions, and cheddar-jack cheese.
Bake in hot oven until cheese melts and browns, 12-15 minutes. -
Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping flatbread with green portions of green onions and pickled onions. Bon appétit!
