If using petite scallops, pat dry. Let oil in pan heat, 3 minutes. After 3 minutes, cook undisturbed, 90 seconds. After 90 seconds, stir occasionally until scallops reach minimum internal temperature, 60-90 seconds. Scallops will vary in amount as they are portioned by weight. Don't worry, the sweet flavor and tender texture will be the same.

If using shrimp, pat dry. Cook until pink and shrimp reach minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side.

If using steak strips, pat dry, coarsely chop, then separate pieces. Stir occasionally until steak reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes. Rest, 3 minutes.

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Remove stem, seeds, and ribs, and cut bell pepper into 1/4” slices.
Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate.Pat sliced pork dry. Coarsely chop, then separate pieces. -
2 Cook the Vegetables and Pork
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add bell peppers, carrots, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper to hot pan. Stir occasionally until vegetables are slightly browned, 2-3 minutes.Add sliced pork. Stir occasionally until pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 5-7 minutes. -
3 Add the Sauce
In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, gochujang (use less if spice-averse), cornstarch, 1/4 cup water, and mushroom base.
Add white portions of green onions, cornstarch mixture (to taste), and butter to hot pan. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.Once simmering, stir occasionally until sauce is slightly thickened, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner.While sauce cooks, continue recipe. -
4 Heat Rice and Finish Dish
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps and remove from packaging. Place rice in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave uncovered until heated through, 2-3 minutes.
Carefully remove from microwave. Rest, 2 minutes.Fluff rice with a fork.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping rice with pork mixture. Garnish with green portions of green onions. Bon appétit!
