Cooking Guidelines

Prepare Ingredients and Make BBQ Sauce
Trim green beans, if necessary.
Quarter and peel onion. Cut 1/4 into 1/4" dice. Thinly slice remaining onion.In a mixing bowl, combine ketchup, mustard, and brown sugar. Set aside. -
Form the Meatloaves
In another mixing bowl, combine ground beef, panko, 2 Tbsp. water, sour cream, 1/4 cup chopped onions (reserve remaining for green beans), 1/4 tsp. salt, a pinch of pepper, and half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for green beans).
Form mixture into two equally-sized, oval-shaped loaves, about 3" in length and 2" by height. -
Roast the Meatloaves
Place meatloaves on prepared baking sheet.
Roast in hot oven, 10 minutes.Carefully remove from oven. Top meatloaves evenly with BBQ sauce. Sheet will be hot! Use caution.Roast again in hot oven until beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 10-15 minutes.While meatloaves roast, continue recipe. -
Start the Green Beans
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add remaining chopped onions, sliced onions, and bacon to hot pan. Stir occasionally until tender and lightly browned, 4-6 minutes. -
Finish Green Beans and Finish Dish
Add green beans to hot pan with onions and cook, 1 minute.
Add 1/4 cup water, remaining garlic salt, and a pinch of pepper. Cover and cook until tender, 6-8 minutes.If green beans need more time, add 2 Tbsp. water, cover, and stir occasionally, 1-3 minutes.Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card. Bon appétit!
