Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

If using 16 oz. shrimp, follow same instructions as 8 oz., working in batches if necessary.

If using scallops, pat dry. Cook until scallops reach minimum internal temperature, 1-2 minutes per side. Scallops will vary in amount as they are portioned by weight. Don't worry, the sweet flavor and tender texture will be the same.

Cook the Pasta
Once water is boiling, add pasta and cook until al dente, 8-10 minutes.
Remove from burner. Drain pasta in a colander and set aside.While pasta cooks, continue recipe. -
Prepare the Ingredients
Trim zucchini ends, halve lengthwise, and cut into 1/2” half-moons. Zucchini quantity may vary, but total weight will remain the same. Don't worry; recipe instructions are not impacted.
Finely chop red peppers.Mince dill.Pat shrimp dry and season all over with a pinch of salt and pepper. -
Cook the Shrimp and Zucchini
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add zucchini and a pinch of salt to hot pan. Stir occasionally until lightly browned and tender, 4-5 minutes.Add shrimp and cook until pink and shrimp reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 2-3 minutes per side. -
Add the Sauce
Add 1/4 cup water, cream base, red peppers, mirepoix base, dill, and garlic and parsley seasoning to hot pan. Bring to a simmer.
Once simmering, stir occasionally until sauce is slightly thickened, 2-3 minutes. -
Add Pasta and Finish Dish
Add pasta to hot pan and stir occasionally until coated and heated through, 1-2 minutes.
Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pasta with cheese. Bon appétit!
