Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

    Start the Broccoli

    Break broccoli into bite-sized pieces using hands.

    Combine broccoli, minced garlic and parsley, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper in provided tray. Spray with cooking spray and spread into an even layer.

    Bake uncovered in hot oven, 10 minutes.

    While broccoli bakes, continue recipe.

    Add the Meatballs

    In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, steak seasoning, panko, half the sour cream (reserve remaining for sauce), and a pinch of pepper. Form mixture into 8 equally-sized meatballs.

    After 10 minutes, carefully remove broccoli from oven and push to one side of tray.

    Place meatballs in now-empty side of tray.

    Bake Meal and Heat Sauce

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until broccoli is tender and meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 20-25 minutes.

    While meal bakes, combine horseradish (to taste), remaining sour cream, cheese, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave uncovered until heated through, 30-60 seconds.

    Carefully remove from microwave and stir to combine.

    Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir softened butter into vegetables until melted and combined. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    To serve, top meatballs with sauce (to taste). Bon appétit!
