“Bulgogi” means fire meat, but don't worry: your box won't spontaneous combust. Instead, the fire simply refers to the meat being grilled. We're not grilling here, but the inspiration is there. Meaty steak strips and fresh bok choy combines with noodles and a sauce of gochujang, soy, and teriyaki. Your box may not catch fire, but your love of this meal might.

Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

Customize It Instructions

If using 20 oz. ground beef, follow same instructions as 10 oz. ground beef, working in batches if necessary.

If using steak strips, spread into a single layer, pat dry, and coarsely chop. Follow same instructions as ground beef in Step 1, stirring occasionally until no pink remains and steak strips reach minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes. Rest, 3 minutes.

If using shrimp, pat dry. Follow same instructions as ground beef in Step 1, cooking undisturbed until shrimp reaches minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side.

If using Impossible burger, follow same instructions as ground beef in Step 1, breaking up burger until heated through, 4-6 minutes.

1 Prepare Ingredients and Cook Ground Beef
Thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate.
Mince garlic.Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.Add 1 tsp. olive oil, sesame oil, ground beef, garlic, and white portions of green onions to hot pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes.Drain excess grease from pan, if desired. -
2 Add the Sauce
Add gochujang (to taste), soy sauce, and teriyaki glaze to hot pan. Stir until combined, 1-2 minutes.

3 Add the Bok Choy
Add bok choy to hot pan. Stir occasionally until bok choy turns bright green and is fork-tender, 2-3 minutes.
While bok choy cooks, combine cornstarch and 1/3 cup water in a mixing bowl.Add cornstarch mixture to hot pan. Bring to a simmer.Once simmering, stir often until combined and slightly thickened, 45-60 seconds. -
4 Add Noodles and Finish Dish
Add noodles to hot pan and stir until coated and warmed through, 1-2 minutes.
Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing with green portions of green onions. Bon appétit!
