Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

If using ground beef, break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

Cook Noodles and Prepare Ingredients
Break noodles into 3-4 pieces.
Once water is boiling, add noodles and cook until al dente, 7-9 minutes.Reserve 1 cup noddle cooking water and set aside. Drain noodles in a colander and set aside.While noodles cook, stem mushrooms and cut into 1/4" slices.Trim green onions and thinly slice, keeping white and green portions separate. -
Cook the Filling
Place a large oven-safe non-stick pan over medium heat.
Add 2 tsp. olive oil and Italian sausage to hot pan. Stir often, breaking up meat, until no pink remains and sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes. Add white portions of green onions and stir often until slightly softened, 2-3 minutes.Add mushrooms, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Stir often until browned, 2-3 minutes. -
Make the Sauce
Add cream base and 1/3 cup noodle cooking water. Bring to a simmer.
Once simmering, stir in noodles until coated and combined.Stir Parmesan (reserve a pinch for garnish) until melted and combined, 1-2 minutes.If sauce is too thick, add additional noodle cooking water, 1 Tbsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.Remove from burner. -
Broil Lasagna and Finish Dish
Top noodle mixture with mozzarella and remaining Parmesan in an even layer. Transfer pan to hot broiler and broil until top is browned and bubbling, 3-5 minutes.
Don't text and broil! Keep an eye on oven as lasagna may burn easily under broiler.Carefully remove from burner. Rest, 5 minutes.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing with green portions of green onions. Bon appétit!
