Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

Cook the Pork
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add ground pork and Asian garlic, ginger & chile seasoning (use less if spice-averse) to hot pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 5-7 minutes.
While pork cooks, combine cornstarch and 1/4 cup water in a mixing bowl. Set aside.Reduce heat to medium.Add cornstarch mixture to pan with pork and stir until combined. -
Add the Vegetables
Add bok choy and slaw mix to hot pan.
Stir occasionally until bok choy is bright green and tender, 5-7 minutes. -
Add the Noodles
Stir noodles, pho base, sweet chili sauce, 1/2 tsp. salt, and 1/4 cup water into hot pan until combined. Bring to a simmer.
Once simmering, stir occasionally until sauce thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon, 2-3 minutes.If sauce is too thick, add additional water, 1 Tbsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.Remove from burner. -
Finish the Dish
