Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

If using ground pork, cook until patties reach minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes per side.

If using ground turkey, cook until patties reach minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes per side.

If using Impossible burger, cook until patties reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 3-4 minutes per side.

1 Roast the Fries
Cut potatoes into 1/4"-thick fries and pat dry.
Place fries on prepared baking sheet and toss with 2 tsp. olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper. Spread into a single layer.Roast in hot oven until lightly browned, 25-28 minutes, tossing once halfway through.Carefully remove from oven. Toss roasted fries with truffle salt (to taste). Baking sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.While fries roast, continue recipe. -
2 Prepare Avocado and Make Aioli
Halve avocado and remove pit by carefully tapping pit with the blade of your knife so it sticks. Gently twist knife to release pit. Scoop out the flesh with a spoon. Cut into 1/4" slices.
Combine mayonnaise, pesto, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl. Set aside. -
3 Form and Cook the Patties
Form ground beef into two patties, about 5" in diameter. Season both sides with black garlic seasoning and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.Add patties to hot pan. Cook until lightly charred and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side.Remove from burner. Transfer patties to a plate. Wipe pan clean and reserve. -
4 Toast the Buns
Return pan used to cook patties to low heat.
Add buns, cut-side down, to hot, dry pan. Toast until lightly browned, 2-3 minutes.Remove from burner. -
5 Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, spreading aioli on bottom bun and topping with patty, avocado, arugula, and top bun. Bon appétit!
