Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

Customize It Instructions

If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

If using ground beef, break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

Prepare Cilantro and Start Filling
Mince cilantro (no need to stem).
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.Add ground turkey and pepper and onion mix to hot pan. Stir occasionally, breaking up meat until no pink remains and turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 6-8 minutes. -
Finish the Filling
Stir marinara, 1/2 cup water, chile and cumin rub, and 1/2 tsp. salt into hot pan until completely combined. Bring to a simmer.
Once simmering, stir occasionally until sauce thickens, 6-8 minutes.Remove from burner.While filling cooks, continue recipe. -
Heat the Rice
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Remove rice from packaging. Place rice and 1/4 tsp. salt in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave uncovered until heated through, 3-4 minutes.
Carefully remove from microwave. Rest, 2 minutes.Fluff rice with a fork. Stir in half the cilantro (reserve remaining for tacos). -
Heat Tortillas and Finish Dish
Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave until warm, 30-60 seconds.
If tortillas come folded, keep folded.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, placing filling in tortillas and garnishing with sour cream, cheese, crispy jalapeños (to taste), and remaining cilantro. Bon appétit!
