Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

If using ground beef, roast until meatballs reach minimum internal temperature, 17-20 minutes.

Prepare the Ingredients
Remove stem, seeds, and ribs, and cut bell pepper into 1/4" strips.
Cut potatoes into 1/4" wedges and pat dry.In a mixing bowl, combine panko, garlic salt, Italian seasoning, and ground turkey. Form mixture into 12 equally-sized meatballs. -
Assemble the Vegetables and Meatballs
Place potatoes, half the ranch seasoning (reserve remaining for post-bake), 2 tsp. olive oil, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper on one prepared baking sheet. Massage oil and seasonings into potatoes. Spread into a single layer.
Place bell peppers, 2 tsp. olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper on one half of second prepared baking sheet. Massage oil and seasonings into bell peppers. Spread into an even layer on their side.Place meatballs on empty side of baking sheet. -
Roast the Vegetables and Meatballs
Roast both sheets in hot oven until vegetables are tender and meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 18-22 minutes.
Carefully remove both sheets from oven and flip potatoes. Sheets will be hot! Use a utensil. -
Assemble the Subs
Place rolls on a clean work surface.
Evenly fill rolls with meatballs and peppers, then evenly top with marinara, then cheese.Place subs on now-empty baking sheet; no need to re-foil. -
Roast Subs and Potatoes and Finish Dish
Roast both sheets again in hot oven until potatoes are tender, rolls are toasted, and cheese has melted, 4-6 minutes.
Carefully remove from oven. Stir remaining ranch seasoning into potatoes until coated.Plate dish as pictured on front of card. Bon appétit!
