Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

Start the Turkey
Break up turkey into bite-sized pieces and evenly divide between both provided trays. Top each tray with 1 tsp. olive oil.
Bake uncovered in hot oven until turkey browns, 9-11 minutes.Turkey will finish cooking in a later step.Carefully remove both trays from oven. Drain excess liquid and crumble turkey into smaller pieces. Trays will be hot! Use a utensil. -
Make the Chili
Drain and rinse beans.
Evenly divide pesto (use less if spice-averse; reserve 1 Tbsp. for crema), minced garlic and parsley, tomatoes, beans, chicken base, 1/4 cup water, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, and chile and cumin rub between both trays. Stir to combine.Cover both trays with foil. -
Bake Meal and Make Crema
Bake both trays again covered in hot oven until chili is bubbling and turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 15-20 minutes.
While meal bakes, in a mixing bowl, combine sour cream, 1 tsp. water, and remaining pesto (to taste). Stir until smooth. Set aside.Carefully remove both trays from oven.To serve, top chili with crema (to taste), cheese, and tortilla strips. Bon appétit!
