  • If using Impossible burger, cook until patties reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 3-4 minutes per side.

  1. 1

    Roast the Potatoes

Cut potatoes into 1/2" wedges and pat dry. Place wedges on prepared baking sheet and toss with 1 tsp. olive oil, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Spread into a single layer.

Roast in hot oven until lightly browned, 25-30 minutes, tossing once halfway through.

    While potatoes roast, continue recipe.

  2. 2

    Form the Tonkatsu Burgers

In a mixing bowl, combine pork, 1/4 tsp. salt, and Asian garlic, ginger & chile seasoning (use less if spice-averse). Form mixture into two evenly-sized patties, about 5" in diameter.

Evenly spread panko on a plate. Add burgers to plate with panko and flip until coated on both sides, pressing gently to adhere.

Transfer burgers to another plate. Rest in refrigerator until ready to cook.

    While burgers rest, continue recipe.

  3. 3

    Make the Sauce and Slaw

In another mixing bowl, combine teriyaki glaze and mayonnaise. Set aside.

In another mixing bowl, combine cabbage, vinegar, 1 tsp. olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Set aside.

  4. 4

    Toast the Buns

Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.

Add buns, cut-side down, to hot pan and cook until toasted, 2-3 minutes.

    Transfer buns to a plate.

    Keep pan over medium heat.

  5. 5

    Cook Burgers and Finish Dish

    Remove burgers from refrigerator.

Add 1 Tbsp. olive oil and burgers to hot pan. Cook undisturbed until crust is golden-brown and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side.

    Remove from burner.

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping bottom bun with teriyaki mayonnaise, burger, slaw, and top bun. Bon appétit!
