Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

Meatlovers! If using protein, cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat with 1 tsp. olive oil.

If using antibiotic free chicken breasts or chicken breasts, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

If using NY strip steak, pat dry. Cook until steak reaches desired doneness, or 4-6 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

Add protein to meal as desired.

Cook the Noodles
Break noodles into large pieces.
Once water is boiling, add noodle pieces and cook until al dente, 7-9 minutes.Remove from burner. Reserve 1/2 cup noodle cooking water. Drain noodles in a colander and set aside.While noodles cook, continue recipe. -
Prepare the Ingredients
Core tomato and cut into 1/4" dice.
Coarsely chop spinach. -
Make the Skillet
Place a large oven-safe non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add corn to hot pan and stir occasionally until starting to brown, 2-4 minutes.
Add garlic salt, tomatoes, cream base, Parmesan, ricotta, and reserved noodle cooking water. Bring to a simmer.Once simmering, stir constantly until slightly thickened and ricotta is fully incorporated, 1-2 minutes.Add spinach, noodles, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Stir constantly until noodles are evenly coated in sauce and spinach is wilted, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner. -
Bake the Skillet
Top skillet evenly with mozzarella.
Transfer to hot oven and bake until cheese is melted, 8-10 minutes.Carefully remove from oven. Pan handle will be hot! Use an oven mitt. -
Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing with red pepper flakes (to taste). Bon appétit!
