Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

If using 20 oz. ground beef, follow same instructions as 10 oz. ground beef, forming mixture into four evenly-sized loaves.

If using ground pork, follow same instructions as ground beef in Step 1, baking until loaves reach minimum internal temperature, 20-25 minutes.

If using ground turkey, follow same instructions as ground beef in Step 1, baking until loaves reach minimum internal temperature, 25-30 minutes.

1 Bake the Meatloaves
In a mixing bowl, thoroughly combine ground beef, panko, taco seasoning, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Form into two evenly-sized loaves.
Place loaves on prepared baking sheet. Bake in hot oven until meatloaves reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 18-20 minutes.Carefully remove baking sheet from oven and top loaves with cheese. Bake again in hot oven until cheese is melted, 2-4 minutes.While meatloaves bake, continue recipe. -
2 Prepare the Ingredients
Hold romaine heart at root end and chop coarsely.
Core tomato and cut into 1/2" dice.Halve lime. Cut one half into wedges and juice the other half.Coarsely chop cilantro (no need to stem). -
3 Make the Salsa
Place corn in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave until heated through, 1-2 minutes.
Carefully remove from microwave. Rest, 5 minutes.After 5 minutes, add tomatoes, cilantro, 2 tsp. lime juice, 1 tsp. olive oil, and a pinch of salt to bowl with corn and stir to combine. Set aside. -
4 Assemble the Salad
In another mixing bowl, combine romaine, chipotle crema, and a pinch of salt.
Top salad with salsa. -
5 Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, slicing meatloaf, if desired, and squeezing lime wedges over to taste. Bon appétit!
