Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

    Start the Vegetables

    Break broccoli into bite-sized pieces using hands.

    Combine broccoli, peppers, sambal (to taste), and 1 tsp. olive oil in provided tray. Massage oil and sambal into vegetables.

    Cover tray with foil.

    Bake covered in hot oven, 8 minutes.

    While vegetables bake, continue recipe.

    Add the Chicken and Zucchini

    Pat chicken dry and season with a pinch of salt.

    After 8 minutes, carefully remove tray from oven. Drain excess liquid from tray. Add zucchini and umami seasoning. Stir until combined and push vegetables to one side of tray. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Place chicken in now-empty side of tray.

    Cover vegetable side of tray with foil.

    Bake Meal and Make Sauce

    Bake half-covered (chicken uncovered, vegetables covered) in hot oven until vegetables are tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.

    While meal bakes, in a microwave-safe bowl, combine teriyaki glaze, chicken base, and 1 Tbsp. water. Cover with a damp paper towel.

    Microwave covered until hot, 30-40 seconds.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Stir in garlic butter until melted and combined.

    Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir plain butter into vegetables until melted and combined. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    To serve, top vegetables with sesame seeds and chicken with sauce. Bon appétit!
