Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

Start the Meatballs
In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, half the umami seasoning (reserve remaining for broccoli), 1/4 tsp. salt, panko, and sour cream. Form mixture into 16 equally-sized meatballs.
Transfer meatballs to one provided tray.Bake uncovered in hot oven, 10 minutes.Meatballs will finish cooking in a later step.While meatballs bake, continue recipe. -
Prepare Broccoli and Add Sauce
In second provided tray, combine broccoli, remaining umami seasoning, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 2 tsp. olive oil.
After 10 minutes, carefully remove meatballs from oven and drain any excess liquid. Stir in half the teriyaki glaze (reserve remaining for garnish). -
Bake Meal and Heat Rice
Bake both trays uncovered in hot oven until broccoli is tender and meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.
While meal bakes, carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Remove rice from packaging and place in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave uncovered until heated through, 2-3 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave. Rest, 2 minutes.Fluff rice with a fork. Carefully remove both trays from oven. Stir remaining teriyaki glaze into meatballs. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.To serve, top rice with broccoli and meatballs. Garnish broccoli with boom boom sauce (to taste) and crispy onions.
