Prepare the Ingredients
Cut potatoes into 1/2" dice.
Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate. -
Make the Chowder
Place a large pot over medium-high heat.
Add cream base, mirepoix base, mixed peppers, corn, potatoes, white portions of green onions, 1/4 tsp. salt, a pinch of pepper, and 1 cup water to hot pot. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.Once simmering, reduce heat to low. Stir occasionally until potatoes are tender and chowder has slightly thickened, 12-15 minutes.While chowder cooks, continue recipe. -
Cook the Shrimp
Pat shrimp dry and season all over with lemon n herb seasoning.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.Add shrimp to hot pan. Stir occasionally until pink and shrimp reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 2-3 minutes per side.Remove from burner.While shrimp cook, continue recipe. -
Crisp Bacon and Finish Dish
Line a plate with a paper towel.
Spread bacon on towel-lined plate.Microwave until crisp, 1-2 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping chowder with shrimp, crispy bacon, and green portions of green onions. Bon appétit!
