Before You Cook

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Start the Tomatoes and Tortellini

    Evenly divide tomatoes, tortellini, 2 tsp. olive oil, and 4 Tbsp. water between both provided trays. If you receive one whole tomato instead, not to worry; simply core tomato, cut into 1/2" dice, and proceed with recipe instructions.

    Cover with foil.

    Bake covered in hot oven until tortellini are tender, 10-12 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven and uncover.

    Add the Sauce

    Evenly divide cream base, cream cheese, minced garlic and lemon basil, mirepoix base, and pesto between both trays. Cream cheese will melt as meal bakes.

    Add 2 Tbsp. water and a pinch of salt and pepper to each tray. Stir to combine. Trays will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Evenly top each tray with spinach. Cover with foil.

    Bake the Meal

    Bake covered in hot oven until spinach is wilted and sauce is heated through, 10-12 minutes.

    Carefully remove trays from oven.

    To serve, top tortellini with shredded cheese. Bon appétit!
