Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

Roast the Fries
Cut potatoes into 1/4" fries and pat dry.
Place fries on prepared baking sheet and top with 1 Tbsp. olive oil, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Massage oil and seasonings into fries and spread into an even layer.Roast in hot oven until lightly browned, 25-30 minutes, tossing fries halfway through.Carefully remove from oven and stir in garlic pepper until combined. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.While fries roast, continue recipe. -
Prepare the Ingredients
Cut mushrooms into 1/4" slices.
Cut ciabattas in half.Thinly slice pepperoni.Pat steak strips dry. Coarsely chop, then separate pieces. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped steak strips, cornstarch, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Set aside. -
Toast the Ciabattas
Spray cut-side of each ciabatta half with cooking spray.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat.Add ciabatta halves, cut-side down, to hot pan and toast until golden-brown, 1-3 minutes.Transfer to a plate. Keep pan over medium heat. -
Cook the Steak and Mushroom Mixture
Add 2 tsp. olive oil, mushrooms, and pepperoni to hot pan. Stir occasionally until browned, 4-6 minutes.
Add steak strips and stir occasionally until no pink remains and steak strips reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 4-6 minutes.Remove from burner. Rest, 3 minutes.While steak strip and mushroom mixture cooks, continue recipe. -
Make Sauce and Finish Dish
In another mixing bowl, combine smoked paprika, garlic aioli, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Set aside.
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping bottom ciabatta half with steak and mushroom mixture, sauce, banana peppers (to taste), then top ciabatta half. Bon appétit!
