Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

1 Start the Couscous
Place carrots and 1 tsp. water in a microwave-safe bowl. Cover with a damp paper towel.
Microwave covered until carrots are slightly tender, 3-5 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave.Place microwaved carrots, couscous, 2 cups water, chicken base, half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for meatloaves), and 1/4 tsp. pepper in one provided tray. Stir to combine. Reserve bowl. -
2 Form the Meatloaves
In reserved bowl, combine panko and 1/4 cup water. Let sit, 1 minute.
After 1 minute, add ground beef, chimichurri seasoning, remaining garlic salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper.Form mixture into four equally-sized, oval-shaped loaves, about 3" in length and 2" by height. Place meatloaves in second provided tray. -
3 Bake the Meal
Bake both trays uncovered in hot oven until couscous is tender and meatloaves reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 25-30 minutes.
Carefully remove trays from oven. Stir softened butter and 1/4 tsp. salt into couscous. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.To serve, top meatloaf with tzatziki. Garnish couscous with cheese. Bon appétit!
