  1. 1

    Prepare Ingredients and Marinate Tofu

    Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces.

Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate.

    Mince garlic.

Line a plate with a paper towel. Cut tofu into 1/2" dice and place on towel-lined plate. Top with paper towels, then press gently but firmly to remove excess moisture. Transfer to a mixing bowl and toss or gently combine with garlic sesame sauce (reserve 2 Tbsp. sauce for garnish). Marinate, at least 10 minutes.

    While tofu marinates, cook rice.

  2. 2

    Cook the Rice

Bring a small pot with rice, a pinch of salt, and 1 cup water to a boil.

Reduce to a simmer, cover, and cook until rice is tender, 14-17 minutes.

Remove from burner and set aside.

    While rice cooks, roast tofu.

  3. 3

    Roast the Tofu

After 10 minutes, transfer tofu to prepared baking sheet.

Place in a single layer. Roast in hot oven until tofu edges begin to brown, 25-30 minutes, flipping once halfway through.

    While tofu roasts, cook broccoli.

  4. 4

    Cook the Broccoli

Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

Add broccoli, white portions of green onions, garlic, 1/4 cup water, and a pinch of salt to hot pan. Cover, and cook until water is almost completely evaporated, 4-5 minutes.

Uncover, and stir occasionally until tender, 1-2 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

  5. 5

    Finish the Dish

Mix sambal (to taste) and reserved garlic sesame sauce in another mixing bowl until combined. Add roasted tofu and toss or gently combine until coated.

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping rice with broccoli and tofu and garnishing with green portions of green onions and sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
