Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

Start the Potatoes
Cut potatoes into 1/4" wedges and pat dry.
Place wedges on prepared baking sheet and toss with 2 tsp. olive oil, half the onion salt (reserve remaining for broccoli), and a pinch of salt and pepper. Spread into a single layer.Roast in hot oven, 15 minutes.While potatoes roast, continue recipe. -
Prepare Ingredients and Make Blue Cheese Butter
Stem and coarsely chop parsley.
In a mixing bowl, combine cheese (to taste) and softened plain butter. Set aside.You may receive plain butter and a seasoning. If so, to make Roasted Garlic & Herb Butter, combine softened butter and seasoning (to taste).Pat steaks dry and season both sides with garlic pepper. -
Add the Broccoli and Bacon
Trim discolored ends off broccoli, if necessary.
After 15 minutes, carefully remove baking sheet from oven. Flip potatoes and push to one side of sheet.Add broccoli, 2 tsp. olive oil, remaining onion salt, and bacon to now-empty side of sheet. Stir oil, bacon, and seasoning into broccoli and spread into an even layer on their side. Sheet will be hot! Use caution. -
Finish the Potatoes and Broccoli
Roast in hot oven until potatoes and broccoli are tender and bacon has crisped, 15-20 minutes.
Carefully remove from oven.While potatoes and broccoli roast, continue recipe. -
Cook Steaks and Finish Dish
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add steaks to hot pan and cook until steaks reach desired doneness, or 4-6 minutes per side for medium/medium-well.Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner. Remove from burner. Rest, 3 minutes.Halve roasted garlic & herb butter. Top steaks evenly with roasted garlic & herb butter. Let melt and flip until coated, 2-3 minutes.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing potatoes with half the parsley (reserve remaining for steak). Top steak with blue cheese butter (to taste) and remaining parsley. Bon appétit!
