Meatlovers! If using protein, cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat with 1 tsp. olive oil.

If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

If using salmon, pat dry. Add salmon, skin-side up first, and cook until salmon reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes per side.

Add protein to meal as desired.

Prepare the Ingredients
Remove stem, seeds, and ribs, and cut bell pepper into 1/4" dice.
Halve tomatoes. If you receive one whole tomato instead, not to worry; simply core tomato, cut into 1/2" dice, and proceed with recipe instructions.Drain capers in a colander/strainer. -
Toast the Caper Breadcrumbs
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add panko and capers to hot pan. Stir occasionally until panko is golden-brown and toasted, 1-2 minutes.Transfer to a plate and keep pan over medium heat; no need to wipe clean. -
Cook the Vegetables
Add 2 tsp. olive oil, bell peppers, and a pinch of salt to hot pan. Stir occasionally until bell peppers are tender, 4-6 minutes.
Add tomatoes and stir occasionally until slightly softened, 1-2 minutes. -
Add Sauce and Pasta and Finish Dish
Add pasta, marinara, Sicilian sauce (to taste), 2 Tbsp. water, garlic salt, and a pinch of pepper to hot pan. Stir often until pasta is heated through, 2-3 minutes.
Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pasta with caper breadcrumbs and cheese. Bon appétit!
