Before You Cook

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Start the Shrimp

    Spray provided trays with cooking spray.

    Drain shrimp thoroughly and pat dry.

    Evenly divide shrimp and half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for pasta) between both provided trays. Stir to combine and evenly top both trays with cream cheese. Cream cheese will melt as meal bakes.

    Bake uncovered in hot oven, 10 minutes.

    Add the Pasta and Sauce

    Carefully remove from oven. Shrimp will finish cooking in a later step.

    Stir shrimp until evenly coated. Trays will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Evenly divide pasta, cream base, pesto, peas, and remaining garlic salt between both trays. Stir to combine and cover with foil.

    Bake the Meal

    Bake both trays in hot oven until pasta is heated through and shrimp reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 15-20 minutes.

    Carefully remove trays from oven. Uncover and stir to combine.

    To serve, top pasta with shredded cheese. Bon appétit!
