Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F
  1. 1

    Roast the Fries

Cut potatoes into 1/4" fries and pat dry.

Place fries on prepared baking sheet and toss with 1 Tbsp. olive oil, 1/2 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Spread into a single layer.

Roast in hot oven until lightly browned, 30-35 minutes, tossing fries halfway through.

    While fries roast, continue recipe.

  2. 2

    Cook and Coat the Patties

Form ground beef into four equally-sized patties, about 5" in diameter. Season both sides with a pinch of pepper.

Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add patties to hot pan and cook until beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 3-5 minutes per side.

    Remove from burner.

Top patties evenly with BBQ sauce (to taste) and gently flip until coated and sauce is heated through, 1-2 minutes.

  3. 3

Make the Slaw and Miso Aioli

Trim cucumber and halve lengthwise. Cut each half into 2" long matchsticks and thinly slice.

In a mixing bowl, combine cabbage, cucumbers, and vinegar. Set aside.

Place butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave until browned, 2-3 minutes, stirring halfway through.

Carefully remove from microwave and add mayonnaise and miso. Stir until combined and smooth. Set aside.

  4. 4

    Toast Buns and Finish Dish

Place buns, cut-side down, directly on oven rack.

Toast in hot oven until lightly browned, 3-5 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven.

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping bottom bun with patty, slaw, miso aioli, and top bun. Bon appétit!
