Microwave Instructions
Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before cooking, and after handling raw meat and seafood. Remove all produce from any packaging or constraints, then thoroughly rinse and pat dry.
Drain pot roast and separate into bite-sized pieces.Add mashed potatoes and 1/4 tsp. salt to one section of provided tray. Stir vigorously to combine.Add chicken base, 2 Tbsp. water, umami seasoning, and cornstarch to empty section of tray. Stir until smooth. Stir pot roast and mushrooms into cornstarch mixture until coated. Cover tray with a damp paper towel.Microwave covered until mashed potatoes and pot roast are heated through, 4-5 minutes.While meal heats, stem and tear parsley.Carefully remove tray from microwave. Stir pot roast mixture. Add butter and sour cream to mashed potatoes. Stir until melted and combined. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.To serve, top mashed potatoes with pot roast mixture. Turn oven on to 375 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Make sure to use conventional oven setting, not convection.
