Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

1 Roast the Potatoes
Quarter potatoes. If larger than a ping-pong ball, cut into six to eight wedges.
Place potatoes on one prepared baking sheet and toss with 4 tsp. olive oil, 1/2 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Massage oil and seasoning into potatoes. Spread into a single layer.Roast in hot oven until browned and tender, 25-27 minutes, tossing once halfway through.Carefully remove from oven and season with garlic pepper.While potatoes roast, continue recipe. -
2 Prepare the Ingredients
Halve and peel onion. Slice halves into thin strips.
Remove stem, seeds, and ribs, and cut bell pepper into thin strips.Pat chicken dry. -
3 Roast the Filling
Place chicken, peppers, and onions on second prepared baking sheet. Top with 4 tsp. olive oil, savory seasoning, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Gently toss until coated and spread into an even layer.
Roast in hot oven until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.After 20-25 minutes, carefully remove baking sheet from oven and drain excess liquid. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.While filling roasts, continue recipe. -
4 Make the Cheese Sauce
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine shredded cheese, cream base, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Cover with a damp paper towel. Microwave covered, 30 seconds.
Carefully remove from microwave and stir to combine. Cover again and microwave until cheese is melted and sauce is hot, 1-2 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave and stir until smooth. -
5 Toasts Rolls and Finish Dish
Place rolls directly on oven rack, cut side up, in hot oven and toast until lightly browned, 3-4 minutes.
Carefully remove from oven.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, adding filling to rolls and topping with cheese sauce. Bon appétit!
