Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using antibiotic free chicken breasts, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

  • If using filets mignon, pat dry. Cook until steak reaches desired doneness, or 4-6 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

  • If using salmon, pat dry. Add salmon, skin-side up first, and cook until salmon reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes per side.

  1. 1

    Cook Pasta and Prepare Ingredients

Once water is boiling, add pasta and cook until al dente, 8-10 minutes.

Remove from burner. Reserve 1 cup pasta cooking water. Drain pasta in a colander and set aside.

While pasta cooks, remove stem, seeds, and ribs, and cut bell pepper into 1/4" dice.

Trim zucchini ends, quarter, and cut into 1/4" dice. Zucchini quantity may vary, but total weight will remain the same. Don't worry; recipe instructions are not impacted.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Yellowtail

Pat yellowtail dry. Season flesh side with half the lemon n herb seasoning (reserve remaining for vegetables). Evenly top flesh side with mayonnaise.

Combine panko, half the cheese (reserve remaining for garnish), and a pinch of salt and pepper on a plate. Spread into an even layer.

Place yellowtail, mayonnaise-side down, onto panko mixture, pressing gently to adhere to one side.

  3. 3

    Roast the Yellowtail

Place yellowtail on prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Evenly top with 2 tsp. olive oil.

Roast in hot oven until yellowtail reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 8-10 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven.

    While yellowtail roasts, continue recipe.

  4. 4

    Cook the Vegetables

Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

Add bell peppers, zucchini, and remaining lemon n herb seasoning to hot pan. Stir occasionally until tender, 6-8 minutes.

  5. 5

    Add Pasta and Finish Dish

Add pasta, marinara, and 1/2 cup reserved pasta cooking water to hot pan with vegetables. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

Once simmering, stir occasionally until slightly thickened, 2-3 minutes.

If too thick, add additional reserved pasta cooking water, 1 Tbsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.

Remove from burner. Stir in butter until melted and combined.

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pasta with remaining cheese. Bon appétit!
