Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

Cook Beef Mixture and Make Cornstarch Slurry
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
Add ground beef, diced onions, and half the soy sauce (reserve remaining for sauce) to hot pan. Stir occasionally, breaking up meat until no pink remains and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes.Remove from burner and transfer ground beef mixture to a plate. Wipe pan clean and return to medium-high heat.While beef cooks, combine cornstarch and 1/2 cup water in a mixing bowl. Set aside. -
Cook the Cabbage
Add 1 tsp. olive oil and cabbage to hot pan used to cook beef.
Stir often until cabbage is tender, 2-3 minutes.Remove from burner and transfer cabbage to plate with beef. Wipe pan clean and return to medium-high heat. -
Make the Sauce
Add orange sauce, remaining soy sauce, mirin, and 1/2 cup water to hot pan. Bring to a simmer.
Stir cornstarch slurry to recombine.Once simmering, add cornstarch slurry to sauce. Stir occasionally until sauce is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon, 1-2 minutes. -
Add Noodles and Finish Dish
Add noodles, beef, cabbage, and red pepper flakes (to taste) to hot pan. Gently stir until coated and heated through, 2-3 minutes.
Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping noodles with wonton strips. Bon appétit!
