Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground turkey, roast until loaves reach minimum internal temperature, 20-25 minutes.

  1. 1

    Start the Potatoes

Cut potatoes into eight wedges each.

Place potatoes on prepared baking sheet and toss with 4 tsp. olive oil, half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for meatloaves), 1/2 tsp. salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Spread into a single layer.

Roast in hot oven, 20 minutes.

    While potatoes roast, continue recipe.

  2. 2

Prepare Green Onions and Make Glaze

Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate.

In a mixing bowl, combine ketchup and brown sugar. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Form the Meatloaves

In another mixing bowl, thoroughly combine ground beef, white portions of green onions, panko, ricotta, remaining garlic salt, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper.

Form mixture into four equally-sized, oval-shaped loaves.

  4. 4

    Finish Potatoes and Roast Meatloaves

After 20 minutes, remove baking sheet from oven. Flip potatoes and push to one side of sheet.

Add meatloaves to now-empty side of sheet and top evenly with glaze. Sheet will be hot! Use caution.

Roast in hot oven until potatoes are tender and golden-brown and meatloaves reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 18-22 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven.

  5. 5

    Finish the Dish

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing potatoes with shredded cheese, green portions of green onions, and sour cream. Bon appétit!
