Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F
Customize It Instructions

If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

Cook the Pasta
Once water is boiling, add pasta and cook until al dente, 8-10 minutes.
Remove from burner. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta cooking water. Drain pasta in a colander and set aside. Wipe pot clean and reserve.While pasta cooks, continue recipe. -
Prepare the Ingredients
Trim zucchini ends, halve lengthwise, and cut into 1/2" dice. Zucchini quantity may vary, but total weight will remain the same. Don't worry; recipe instructions are not impacted.
Pat shrimp dry and season all over with lemon n herb seasoning. -
Cook the Shrimp and Zucchini
Return pot used to cook pasta to medium-high heat and add 4 tsp. olive oil.
Add shrimp and zucchini to hot pot. Stir occasionally until shrimp are pink and reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 2-3 minutes per side. -
Add the Sauce and Pasta
Add cream base, cream cheese, peas, 1/4 cup reserved pasta cooking water, garlic salt, half the shredded cheese (reserve remaining for garnish), and pasta to hot pot. Bring to a simmer.
Once simmering, reduce heat to low and stir until cheese is melted and sauce is slightly thickened, 2-4 minutes.If sauce is too thick, add additional reserved pasta cooking water, 1 Tbsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.Remove from burner. -
Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pasta with remaining shredded cheese and red pepper flakes (to taste). Bon appétit!
