Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F
Customize It Instructions

If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

If using ground beef, break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

Prepare the Ingredients
Stem mushrooms and cut caps into 1/4” slices.
Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate. -
Cook the Turkey
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 Tbsp. olive oil.
Add ground turkey, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper to hot pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 7-9 minutes. -
Add the Vegetables
Add mushrooms and white portions of green onions to hot pan. Stir occasionally until browned, 4-6 minutes.
Stir in flour until no dry flour remains. -
Add the Sauce
Add mustard (to taste), chicken base, cream base, sour cream, garlic salt, and 1 cup water to hot pan. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
If too thick, add additional water, 1 tsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached. -
Add Pasta and Finish Dish
Once simmering, add pasta to hot pan and stir occasionally until heated through, 2-3 minutes.
Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pasta with green portions of green onions. Bon appétit!
