Cooking Guidelines

Meatlovers! If using protein, cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat with 1 tsp. olive oil.

If using top round steak, pat dry. Cook until steak reaches desired doneness, or 3-5 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

If using chicken cutlets, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 3-5 minutes per side. Cutlet thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner cutlet, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

If using salmon, pat dry. Add salmon, skin-side up first, and cook until salmon reaches minimum internal temperature, 3-4 minutes per side.

Prepare the Ingredients
Trim zucchini ends, halve lengthwise, and cut into 1/2” half-moons. Zucchini quantity may vary, but total weight will remain the same. Don't worry; recipe instructions are not impacted.
Halve tomatoes. If you receive one whole tomato instead, not to worry; simply core tomato, cut into 1/2" dice, and proceed with recipe instructions.Tear Gouda into smaller pieces. -
Toast the Panko
Line a plate with a paper towel.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.Add panko and a pinch of garlic salt (reserve remaining for vegetables) to hot pan. Stir occasionally until golden-brown and toasted, 30-60 seconds.Remove from burner. Transfer panko to towel-lined plate. Return pan to medium-high heat; no need to wipe clean. -
Cook the Vegetables
Add 2 tsp. olive oil to hot pan.
Add zucchini and half the remaining garlic salt (reserve remaining for sauce). Stir occasionally until lightly browned and tender, 4-5 minutes.Stir in tomatoes until softened, 2-3 minutes. -
Add the Sauce
Add cream base, butter, remaining garlic salt, and Gouda to hot pan. Stir occasionally until cheese is melted and combined, 2-3 minutes.

Add Tortellini and Finish Dish
Add tortellini and 1/4 cup water to hot pan.
Cover and stir occasionally until tortellini are heated through, 4-5 minutes.Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping tortellini with Parmesan and toasted panko. Bon appétit!
