Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F
Customize It Instructions

If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

If using ground beef, break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

Prepare the Ingredients
Cut mushrooms into 1/4" slices.
Trim and thinly slice green onions, keeping white and green portions separate.Mince garlic.Remove Italian sausage from casing, if necessary. -
Cook the Sausage
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add Italian sausage to hot pan. Break into smaller pieces until no pink remains and sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes. -
Add the Vegetables
Add mushrooms, garlic, and white portions of green onions to hot pan. Stir often until mushrooms are browned and softened, 3-5 minutes.

Add the Pasta and Sauce
Add cream base, cheese, garlic pepper, mushroom seasoning, and 1/4 tsp. salt to hot pan. Bring to a simmer.
Once simmering, add pasta and stir until combined, heated through, and sauce has slightly thickened, 2-3 minutes.Remove from burner. -
Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing with green portions of green onions. Bon appétit!
