Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F
Customize It Instructions

If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

If using ground beef, break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

If using ground turkey, break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

Prepare the Ingredients
Zest and halve lime.
Trim and thinly slice green onions, keeping white and green portions separate. -
Cook the Pork
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add ground pork and a pinch of salt to hot pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 5-7 minutes. -
Add the Vegetables and Sauce
Add cabbage and white portions of green onions to hot pan. Stir occasionally until slightly tender, 2-3 minutes.
Add teriyaki glaze, sesame oil, cornstarch, a pinch of salt and pepper, and juice of half the lime (reserve remaining for rice). Stir occasionally until slightly thickened, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner.While pork mixture cooks, continue recipe. -
Heat the Rice
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Remove rice from packaging.
Place rice in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave uncovered until heated through, 3-4 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave. Rest, 2 minutes.Fluff rice with a fork. Stir in butter, juice of remaining lime half, 1/2 tsp. lime zest, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Taste, and add more lime zest, if desired. -
Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping rice with pork mixture and garnishing with green portions of green onions and sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
