Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

Prepare Ingredients and Make Sauce
Drain and rinse beans in a colander.
Core tomato and cut into 1/2" dice.Stem poblano pepper, seed, and cut into 1/4" dice. Poblano peppers can vary in spice level; most are mild, but a few can be quite hot. Wash hands and cutting board after prepping.In a mixing bowl, combine honey, pesto (to taste), fiesta seasoning, 1/2 tsp. salt, and 1/4 cup water. Set aside. -
Start the Filling
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add ground pork, 1/4 tsp. salt, and poblanos (use less if spice-averse) to hot pan.Break up meat until no pink remains and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 5-7 minutes. -
Finish the Filling
Carefully drain any excess liquid from pan.
Add sauce to hot pan and stir occasionally until sauce has slightly thickened, 2-3 minutes.Add beans and stir often until heated through, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner. -
Warm Tortillas, Assemble Burritos, and Finish Dish
Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave until warm, 30-60 seconds.
If tortillas come folded, keep folded.Carefully remove from microwave.Place tortillas on a clean work surface. Evenly divide filling, crema, tomatoes, and cheese between tortillas.Fold sides of tortilla toward center, then roll bottom edge towards the top, enclosing sides tightly.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, halving burrito, if desired.
