Customize It Instructions

  • If using steak strips, pat dry, coarsely chop, then separate pieces. Stir occasionally until steak reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes. Rest, 3 minutes.

  1. 1

    Prepare Ingredients and Make Sauce

    Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces.

Trim and thinly slice green onions, keeping white and green portions separate.

In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, vinegar, minced garlic and chili pepper (to taste), ginger, garlic salt, and 2 Tbsp. water. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Start the Stir-Fry

Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and spray with cooking spray.

Add broccoli, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 2 Tbsp. water to hot pan. Cover and cook until water has evaporated, 3-4 minutes.

Remove from burner. Transfer broccoli to a plate. Return pan to medium-high heat; no need to wipe clean.

  3. 3

    Finish the Stir-Fry

Spray pan with cooking spray. Add ground beef and white portions of green onions to hot pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes.

Add broccoli and sauce and stir to combine. Bring to a simmer.

Once simmering, stir often until slightly thickened, 1-2 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

  4. 4

    Heat Rice and Finish Dish

Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Remove rice from packaging. Place rice in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave uncovered until heated through, 2-3 minutes.

Carefully remove from microwave. Rest, 2 minutes.

    Fluff rice with a fork.

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping rice with stir-fry and garnishing with sesame seeds and green portions of green onions. Bon appétit!
