Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

Start the Mashed Potatoes
Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before cooking, and after handling raw meat and seafood. Remove all produce from any packaging or constraints, then thoroughly rinse and pat dry.
Place mashed potatoes and cheese in provided tray. Stir vigorously to combine. Bake uncovered in hot oven until hot, 5-7 minutes.While potatoes bake, continue recipe. -
Add the Chicken
Finely crush pretzels in shipping bag.
Pat chicken dry.After 5-7 minutes, carefully remove tray from oven and vigorously stir potatoes to combine. Push potatoes to one side of tray and top with butter. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil. Butter will melt as meal bakes.Place chicken in now-empty side of tray. Evenly top with 2 tsp. mustard (reserve remaining for garnish), then crushed pretzels, pressing gently to adhere. Top with 1 tsp. olive oil. -
Bake the Meal
Bake uncovered in hot oven until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.
While meal bakes, stem and tear parsley.Carefully remove from oven. Vigorously stir mashed potatoes to combine.To serve, top chicken with remaining mustard (using clean utensil) and garnish potatoes with parsley. Bon appétit!
