Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Bake the Mushrooms and Meatballs

    Evenly divide mushrooms and half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for rice) between both provided trays. Top each tray with 2 tsp. olive oil.

    In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, onion salt, panko, a pinch of pepper, and half the minced garlic and parsley (reserve remaining for rice). Form mixture into 16 equally-sized meatballs. Evenly divide meatballs between both provided trays.

    Bake both trays uncovered in hot oven until mushrooms are tender and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 20-25 minutes.

    While mushrooms and meatballs bake, continue recipe.

    Heat the Rice

    Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Remove rice from packaging.

    Place rice, remaining minced garlic and parsley, and remaining garlic salt in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave uncovered until heated through, 3-4 minutes.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Rest, 2 minutes.

    Fluff rice with a fork. Stir softened butter into rice until melted and combined.

    Add Sauce and Bake Meal

    After 20-25 minutes, carefully remove trays from oven and drain any excess liquid. Trays will be hot! Use caution.

    Evenly divide cream base between both trays and cover trays with foil.

    Bake both trays again covered in hot oven until sauce is heated through and bubbling, 8-10 minutes.

    While meal bakes, stem and tear dill.

    Carefully remove trays from oven.

    To serve, top rice with meatball-mushroom mixture and sauce from tray. Garnish with dill. Bon appétit!
