Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Start the Brussels Sprouts
In provided tray, combine Brussels sprouts, 2 tsp. olive oil, garlic pepper, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Spread into a single layer, cut-side down.
Bake uncovered in hot oven until bright green, 12-15 minutes.Carefully remove tray from oven and push Brussels sprouts to one side of tray. -
2 Add the Chicken
Pat chicken breasts dry, and season both sides with 1/4 tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper.
Transfer to empty side of tray. Evenly top with pesto, then mozzarella. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil. -
3 Bake the Meal
Bake uncovered in hot oven until Brussels sprouts are tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.
Carefully remove from oven.To serve, top Brussels sprouts with balsamic glaze and garnish with Parmesan. Bon appétit!
