Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

Prepare the Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine slaw mix and tzatziki. Set aside.
In another mixing bowl, combine hummus, a pinch of salt, and 1 Tbsp. water. Set aside. -
Cook the Ground Beef and Peppers
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add peppers and a pinch of salt to hot pan. Stir occasionally until slightly tender, 2-3 minutes.Add ground beef and break up meat until no pink remains and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes.Drain any excess liquid from pan. Pan will be hot! Use caution. -
Add the Tomatoes
Add tomatoes, chile and cumin rub, and onion salt to hot pan. Stir often until combined and peppers are tender, 2-3 minutes.
Remove from burner.While mixture cooks, continue recipe. -
Heat Rice and Finish Dish
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Remove rice from packaging.
Combine rice, 1 tsp. olive oil, and piri piri seasoning (to taste) in a microwave-safe bowl.Microwave uncovered until heated through, 3-4 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave. Rest, 2 minutes.Fluff rice with a fork.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping rice with beef mixture, slaw, and hummus. Bon appétit!
