Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

If using yellowtail, pat dry. Add skin-side up first, and cook until fish reaches a minimum internal temperature, 3-4 minutes per side. Fish thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner filet, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

If using salmon, pat dry. Add skin-side up first, and cook until fish reaches a minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes per side.

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Remove stem, seeds, and ribs, and cut bell pepper into 1/2" slices.
Stem cilantro and coarsely chop leaves.Pat trout dry and season flesh side with Asian garlic, ginger and chile seasoning (use less if spice-averse) and 1/4 tsp. salt. -
2 Cook the Vegetables
Trim green beans, if necessary.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.Add green beans, bell peppers, garlic and parsley seasoning, red pepper flakes (to taste), and 1/2 tsp. salt to hot pan. Stir occasionally, 1 minute.Add 1/4 cup water, cover, and cook until tender, 6-8 minutes.Remove from burner.While vegetables cook, continue recipe. -
3 Cook the Trout
Place another large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add trout, skin-side up first, to hot pan. Cook until trout reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 2-3 minutes per side. -
4 Glaze the Trout
Top trout evenly with maple syrup, then immediately remove from burner.
Spoon maple syrup over trout until trout is coated and syrup thickens, 30-60 seconds. -
5 Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping vegetables with sesame seeds and cilantro. Bon appétit!
