Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Prepare the Chicken

    Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.

    Pat chicken dry and season both sides with half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for pasta) and a pinch of pepper.

    On a plate, combine panko and half the shredded cheese (reserve remaining for garnish). Spread into an even layer. Place chicken in panko-cheese mixture, pressing gently to adhere to one side.

    Transfer chicken, panko-cheese-side up, to one provided tray. Spray with cooking spray.

    Prepare the Pasta

    Halve lemon lengthwise. Cut one half into wedges and juice the other half.

    Tear spinach and parsley.

    In second provided tray, combine cream cheese, pasta, butter, spinach, parsley, 1/4 cup water, remaining garlic salt, and 1 Tbsp. lemon juice. Cream cheese will melt as meal bakes.

    Cover tray with foil.

    Bake the Meal

    Bake chicken tray uncovered in hot oven until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.

    Bake pasta tray covered in hot oven until spinach wilts and pasta is heated through, 10-12 minutes.

    Carefully remove both trays from oven.

    To serve, slice chicken, if desired. Top pasta with remaining cheese and squeeze lemon wedges over to taste. Bon appétit!
