Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

1 Start the Broccoli
Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.
Using hands, break broccoli into bite-sized pieces.In provided tray, combine broccoli, onions, 2 tsp. olive oil, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Spread into an even layer.Bake uncovered in hot oven, 15 minutes.While broccoli bakes, continue recipe. -
2 Add the Chicken
Pat chicken dry and season both sides with 1/4 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper.
Carefully remove tray from oven. Push vegetables to one side of tray. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.Place chicken in now-empty side of tray and top with 1 tsp. olive oil. -
3 Bake the Meal
Bake again uncovered in hot oven until vegetables are tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.
While meal bakes, in a mixing bowl, combine crème fraîche and pesto (to taste).Carefully remove tray from oven. Drain liquid from tray and stir butter into vegetables. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.Spread crème fraîche mixture evenly on chicken, then top with crispy jalapeños (to taste), pressing gently to adhere.To serve, garnish vegetables with cheese. Bon appétit!
