Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

1 Bake the Flatbreads
Place flatbreads on prepared baking sheets flat-side up.
Bake in hot oven until lightly browned, 6-8 minutes.While flatbreads bake, continue recipe. -
2 Cook the Sausage and Peppers
Remove Italian sausage from casing, if necessary.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.Add sausage and bell peppers to hot pan. Break up sausage and stir occasionally until bell peppers are tender and sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes.Stir in marinara sauce and a pinch of salt until combined, 30-60 seconds.Remove from burner. -
3 Assemble the Flatbreads
After 6-8 minutes, carefully remove flatbreads from oven.
Evenly top flatbreads with sausage-pepper mixture, then mozzarella. -
4 Bake Flatbreads, Make Garlic Pepper Ricotta, and Finish Dish
Bake in hot oven until edges of flatbreads are crispy and mozzarella is melted, 4-6 minutes.
While flatbreads bake, in a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, garlic pepper, a pinch of salt, and 1 tsp. olive oil. Set aside.Carefully remove flatbreads from oven.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping flatbread with dollops of garlic pepper ricotta and Parmesan. Bon appétit!
