Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using antibiotic free chicken breasts, pat dry. Cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat with 1 tsp. olive oil until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

  • If using top round steak, pat dry. Cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat with 1 tsp. olive oil until steak reaches desired doneness, or 3-5 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

    Roast the Potatoes

    Slice potatoes into 1/4" rounds.

    Place potatoes on one prepared baking sheet and top with 2 tsp. olive oil, Parmesan, garlic salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Spread into a single layer.

    Roast in hot oven until tender and golden-brown, 15-20 minutes.

    While potatoes roast, continue recipe.

    Make Topping and Prepare Chicken

    In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, pesto, and half the hot sauce (to taste; reserve remaining for garnish). Set aside.

    Pat chicken dry and season both sides with 1/4 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper.

    Prepare the Green Beans

    Trim ends off green beans, if necessary.

    Place green beans on second prepared baking sheet. Top with 2 tsp. olive oil, garlic pepper, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Push green beans to one half of baking sheet.

    Add the Chicken

    Place chicken on empty side of baking sheet next to green beans.

    Top chicken evenly with topping (use less if spice-averse), then bacon, pressing gently to adhere.

    Roast Green Beans and Chicken and Finish Dish

    Roast green beans and chicken in hot oven until green beans are tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 15-20 minutes.

    Cutlet thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner cutlet, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

    Carefully remove both sheets from oven.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing chicken with remaining hot sauce (to taste). Bon appétit!
