Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Prepare the Carrots

    Peel and cut carrots into 1/2"-thick sticks.

    Place carrots on prepared baking sheet. Top with 2 tsp. olive oil, garlic salt, and a pinch of pepper. Massage oil and seasoning into carrots.

    Roast the Carrots

    Roast carrots in hot oven until tender, 15-20 minutes.

    While carrots roast, continue recipe.

    Make Sauce and Finish Dish

    In a microwave-safe bowl, combine minced garlic and chili pepper (to taste) and butter. Cover with a damp paper towel. Microwave covered until melted and fragrant, 20-30 seconds.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Stir in honey and mustard until smooth and combined.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping carrots with sauce and crispy onions. Bon appétit!
