Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using antibiotic free chicken breasts, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

  • If using sirloin steaks, pat dry. Cook until steak reaches desired doneness, or 4-6 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

    Prepare Ingredients and Make Topping

    Break broccoli into bite-sized pieces using hands.

    Pat salmon dry and season flesh side with half the chimichurri seasoning (reserve remaining for topping) and a pinch of salt and pepper.

    In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, half the shredded cheese (reserve remaining for garnish), and remaining chimichurri seasoning. Set aside.

    Roast the Salmon

    Place salmon on prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Top salmon with cream cheese topping and spread evenly.

    Roast in hot oven until salmon reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 10-15 minutes.

    While salmon roasts, continue recipe.

    Cook the Broccoli

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add broccoli and 1/4 cup water to hot pan. Cover and cook until water is almost completely evaporated, 4-6 minutes.

    Uncover and stir occasionally until tender, 2-3 minutes.

    Season with 1/4 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper.

    Remove from burner.

    Make Mustard Sauce and Finish Dish

    In another mixing bowl, combine mustard, creme fraiche, 1 tsp. water, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping broccoli with mustard sauce and remaining shredded cheese. Bon appétit!
