Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

    Prepare the Broccoli

    In one provided tray, combine broccoli, 1/4 tsp. salt, a pinch of pepper, and 2 tsp. olive oil. Massage oil and seasonings into broccoli. Spread into an even layer.

    Add the Meatballs

    In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, panko, half the chimichurri seasoning (reserve remaining for rice), onion salt, 2 Tbsp. water, and a pinch of pepper.

    Form mixture into 16 equally-sized meatballs and place in second provided tray.

    Bake Meal and Heat Rice

    Bake both trays uncovered in hot oven until broccoli is tender and meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 22-25 minutes.

    While meal bakes, carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Remove from packaging.

    Combine rice, remaining chimichurri seasoning, chicken base, and 2 tsp. olive oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave uncovered until heated through, 3-4 minutes.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Rest, 2 minutes.

    Fluff rice with a fork.

    Carefully remove both trays from oven. Stir softened butter into broccoli until melted and combined.

    To serve, top meatballs with tzatziki. Bon appétit!
